You will need:
6 Tbsp butter
3 1/2 Tbsp flour
2 cups whole milk
1/2 block of extra sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
1 cup of your favorite salsa
2 small saucepans
large whisk
How to make:
Heat up the milk in one saucepan
Melt butter on medium heat in the other pan
Add the flour to the butter and stir immediately
Cook & stir the butter/flour mixture on med. heat for 5 minutes
Add the warm milk and whisk vigorously!!!!!
A thick creamy white sauce will form quickly
Slowly add cheese cubes 2 or 3 at a time and whisk each time
Keep adding cheese until all is melted and mixed in the sauce
Remove from stove top, add salt, pepper & salsa and mix well!
